racehorse dont like taste
Hi Diarmuid, I would be curious to know if your horses appetite is not as it should be , Racehorse stomachs as you know , become very reduced in size due to their gruelling workouts . Therefore the stomach acid is condensed to a much smaller area and causes damage to the walls of the stomach, causing ulcers . This is a general complaint with racehorses & they go off their food intake . I would be concerned that the food is therefore blamed when a more serious underlying condition is at fault. To help ease their stomachs , an increase of forage should be fed , plenty of water & a specific gut supplement ,( a good quality supplement ) . I would also advise a check up by your vet .
Hope this is of help .
Great product. Ponies love it and look great. Quick delivery.
